My Career

I was sometimes asked about my career.

The Lord Jesus is my witness that I am well aware of my total depravity, insignificance, and unworthiness. But for His grace, I would be punished eternal death.

Before a born-again Christian, I had sought self-glory. So, my career was in vain.

After a born-again Christian, I have often sought my pride in the name of Jesus, treating God as a powerful assistant rather than my Master. My testimony often is for me, not for Him. So all my career is so shameful.

Therefore, I count all my career beyond the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.

I was educated at the School of Ministry at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, especially taught/mentored/influenced by 3 pastors - Carl Westerlund, Chuck Smith & David Hockings.
