"Every Thought to the Obedience of Christ" |
Father, we thank You for what You have done and what You are doing, also recently Your opening EU mission for Your increase. We wish to acknowledge Lord, the recognition that we have of Your glorious work. Lord, we pray that we might ever realize that except You build the house we labor in vain. That our efforts, Lord, are worthless, but Lord, we see what You have done and what You can do. Our hearts rejoice. We glory Lord, in Your wonderful work. And Lord, we thank You that in Your wisdom, You choose the foolish things of the world to confound the wise and the simple things to just, cause the men of wisdom to scratch their heads and not understand what is going on. Because they don’t understand Your Spirit and the work of Your Spirit. And so Lord, we rejoice in the work of Your Holy Spirit. We glory in You, through Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen. |

Father, bless us, that we may see Your hand, Your work in our lives this week, as You does for us, what we can’t possibly do for ourselves. Lord, as we learn to walk with You, in trust, and in confidence, committing our ways unto the You, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly above all that we might ask or think, and You will not let us fall, but You will keep us, by Your power, In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen. |

Father, You’re not in need. You own the cattle on a thousand hills and futher all the earth. And Lord, it isn’t because You’re in need. It’s because we’re in need! We’re in need of showing You our love and our appreciation for all You have given to us and all You’ve done for us. And so we thank You, Lord, that You do receive the expressions and the tokens of our love and our appreciation for Your goodness and for Your blessings and for the indescribable gift that You’ve bestowed upon us. And so Lord, we give out of grateful hearts. We give out of thankful hearts. We give out of rejoicing hearts, Lord. And we thank You that You receive those gifts that come from a cheerful giver. May we always, Lord, give cheerfully to You. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen. |

Father, we thank You for the promise of the Holy Spirit and the fulfillment of that promise. We thank you, Lord, for the glorious Gospel that we have to share with people. That even though Jesus was crucified, He rose again the third day and He lives today. And those who will turn from their sin and turn to Him will be forgiven, washed and cleansed, made new persons completely; will know the joy of living in fellowship with You. Lord, thank You for the way Your word just stirs our hearts, causing them to burn, Lord, as You open to our hearts an understanding of Your scriptures. Give us further understanding, Lord, thank you for your word. Father, lead us to venture out in faith this week by trusting in You to do Your work through us. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen. |

Father, we thank You for the work of Your Holy Spirit in Your church, through Your church. Today Lord, we pray that Your Holy Spirit might come upon our lives in renewed power that we might become instruments that You can do Your work even as Paul was an instrument through which You worked miracles, Lord. May we be instruments to do Your work. Help us Lord. Guide us Lord. Bless us Lord. Father, we thank You for the Palm Sunday to remind of the welcoming of Jesus into our hearts and of our willingness to follow You. Father, we thank You again for the love that You manifested towards us when You allowed Your Son; in fact, You sent Him to fulfill all of the prophecies knowing that He would be despised and rejected, knowing that He would be physically abused, knowing that He would be submitted to the tortures of the scourging and the tortures of the cross. And yet Lord, Your love for us is so great that You were willing to give Your only begotten Son in order that He might make possible our coming to You and fellowshipping. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent in Your name in all the earth! How marvellous are Your works, how infinite Your love. Lord, we love You and we thank You that You first loved us and gave Your Son for our redemption. Thank You, Jesus, that You were willing to obey the Father, go to the cross and make the way to eternal life. Lord, help us that we might adequately express our love to You by our moths and by our deeds. Not hoping that through them we can be saved but Lord, just letting them be expressions of appreciation for what You have done. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen. |

In this society, a lot of us would have been stoned already! But thank You that Jesus Christ bore the curse of the law for us, being crucified, redeemed us from death. We have life in Jesus. Lord. let us enjoy abundant life in Jesus this week, as we walk in fellowship with You. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen. |

Father, we thank You for the promise of the presence of Jesus Christ with us, right down to the closeout of this age. Lord help us to become more aware of Your presence all the time. May we like Paul realize that in You, we live, we move, we have our being. We’re surrounded, we’re enveloped, You are the environment and the atmosphere in which we live, in which we breath. Make us more aware of this Lord in order that we might live always in a way that is pleasing to You. Not wanting to offend You. And in order that we might experience that power in our times of need and weakness. Thank You Lord for the promise to be with us. Thank You for keeping that promise. Go with us today as we go our separate ways, during the week Lord, even as You manifested Your presence to Your disciples, so manifest Your presence to us. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen. |

Father, help us to absorb all we heard. That it might soak in and sink in. Lord, take root in our hearts. That we might come to a richer understanding of Your word, and the Your ways, that we might walk in Your path. And that we might walk after Your Spirit. Lord, crucify the old man with lusts. That we might live the new life in Christ. That glorious life where You does not observe iniquity, or see the failure. But Lord, only sees us in the perfection of Your Son. Walking in the Spirit, Lord, help us. May this be a week of victory, in Christ, as You give us victory over our flesh, and over the life of the flesh, through the power of the living Savior. Father, we thank You again that Jesus Christ has made the way whereby we can come, come to your throne of mercy to find grace, that Jesus Christ our Lord has opened up the door, the door to heaven’s gate. When He died on the cross to redeem all the lost, He prepared a way that leads to His abode. It’s a way marked by blood but it leads us safely home. Lord, how blessed we are. What a wonderful Savior is Jesus, our Jesus. Lord, we are so thankful, we’re so grateful that You were willing to bear the shame, the mockery, the jeering, the scorn, the suffering, that You might forgive us our sins, that You might make us children of God, that You might adopt us into the family of God, giving us all of the privileges of being children of God. Thank you Lord for washing and cleansing us from our guilt. May we never, never forget what You’ve done for us. Just keep us Lord near the cross and may we ever glory in what You wrought for us when You gave Your life as a ransom for all. Lord, help us, help us not to deny You by our words or by our actions. And may we walk Lord daily in righteousness, in holiness, in purity, as we await Lord the glorious day of Your coming and as we look forward to the establishing of Your kingdom upon the earth. Lord you said that if we read it, we should understand it. And so we ask for the help of Your Holy Spirit, give us understanding, understanding of Your ways, understanding of Your will, understanding of Your purpose for our lives.
